Don't worry, your messages can be restored back.Messages can be deleted without rules as well as with rules.To delete old messages, just provide two dates between you want to delete messages.To delete messages automatically, you need to create rules. Rules creation requires 3 steps as follows1. Create folders.2. Associate contacts to these folders (logically).3. Associate life time to folders, which means life time of the messages associated to that folder.Rule require only two input from user.Input 1: Life time of messages from particular contact. To give this input user can create folder and specify the message life span on folder using "Message Life Time".Input 2: Which contact(s) belong to which folder. This can be specified using "Set/Update Rule".Settings details:SHOW INBOX: Show phone message inbox.CREATE NEW FOLDER: Create new folders on which you can set messages life time. User can select multiple contacts for which message life time can be set using Set/Update Rule. SET/UPDATE RULE: User can set/update the rules, what all contacts belong to which folder, created using Create New Folder. You can rename or delete the folder using long click. Upon long click, user will be presented with options for doing so.Upon clicking this; app will show the list of folders created. User can click any folder, upon clicking drop down list of contacts will be shown, user can select multiple contacts. Now messages life time of the selected contacts will be same as the life time of the folder (selected using "Message Life Time").MESSAGE LIFE TIME: User can set message life time on folders. User have to set the life time of the folder to make the rule taking affect.RESTORE SMS: Messages can be restored back to message inbox. Upon long click user will be presented with options:1. Restore all sms 2. Select date and restore sms.
